Sex in the City's Chris Noth, Tara Wilson Welcome Baby Boy

Celebrity pregnancies are all the rage recently. The latest celebrity to become a parent is no other than Sex in the City's Mr. Big, Chris Noth. According to E! Online, Noth's longtime girlfriend, Tara Wilson, gave birth to a boy, Orion Christopher Noth, on Friday January 18^th. The baby, who weighed in at 7 lb. 10 oz. is the first for the 53-year old actor.

Baby Orion will have many future play dates, as many other Hollywood stars have recently welcomed new additions:

Socialite and tabloid favorite Nicole Richie and musician boyfriend Joel Madden of Good Charlotte fame welcomed a baby girl on January 11^th. The little one, Harlow Winter Kate Madden, weighed in 6 lbs. 7 oz.

Grammy winning artist, Christina Aguilera, gave birth to a son, Max Liron Bratman on January 12^th. He is the first child for Aguilera and her husband, Jordan Bratman.

Also aboard the baby bandwagon are Dennis Quaid and wife Kimberly. According to LA Times, twins Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace were born in November via a gestational surrogate (Quaid and his wife are the biological parents). However, TMZ.com has reported that health problems plagued the infants at first when they were mistakenly given the incorrect dosage of heparin, a blood thinner. To date the babies are doing fine.

Other pregnancy celebs include J-Lo, who has been rumored to be carrying twins, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Alba, Halle Berry, and singer Monica. Those rumored to be pregnant include Pamela Anderson and Avril Lavigne.

Unfortunately, not all pregnancies end happily. 22-year old Lily Allen confirmed that she had a miscarriage. Additionally, in the year 2008, not all babies come from married adult couples. Last month it was announced that Britney's little sister, Jamie Lynn is expecting. She is only 16.

2008 certainly seems to be the year of the celebrity baby! Chances are they will all be well dressed, pampered, and given rather unique names.
