1. Think about the mood. Think witty, brainy, smart, and independent. Then, combine this with a new sense of femininity and caring. Miranda is hot on her career, but now she realizes there is more to life than one's job and sense of decency. There's also compromise in a relationship, and having a family to care about.
2. Think red hair. If you're going to pull off the Miranda look, you've gotta have a short red-haired do. You can either purchase an inexpensive wig at any wig store, or you can be totally authentic and cut your hair and dye it. In season six, Miranda's red do was a bit lighter than some of the other seasons, where she went with a deep red.
3. Think pastel, light makeup. Miranda's makeup look is classic. She doesn't usually wear makeup that stands out, but rather opts for makeup that goes with her light complexion. However, in season six, Miranda did change her makeup slightly to go for a somewhat bolder look. Use pink lipstick. Instead of an almost translucent pink from previous seasons, this year's pink lipstick was glossier and more solidly pink. Try either a light green eyeshadow, used sparingly, or a deep purple eyeshadow, used just around the eyelashes. As for overall makeup, use a light shade that makes you look as if you have a fair complexion. To go all out, you would want to have thin eyebrows that are a pale shade of red. Keep in mind that Miranda's real hair color when she doesn't dye it is more of a blonde color, so her eyebrows are light.
4. Jewelry. Miranda tends to wear long, dangly earrings. Often, she opts not to wear a necklace, showing off her neckline. Sometimes she wears some bangle type bracelets. Her jewelry often looks like costume jewelry, not expensive diamonds or pearls.
5. Outfit. You have two options for a Miranda Season Six Halloween Costume. You can either go with the suit, or a nice sleeveless slim dress. If you choose the suit, choose either a black suit with white blouse and a knee length skirt, or a bright red suit jacket. Miranda's suits always looked of high quality and fit the attorney role. You would never see her with a suit jacket in a print, but only solids.
To choose the sleeveless dress, think a cocktail dress. You can choose a black cocktail dress, or one in shades of red and/or purple. Miranda's little sleeveless dresses went from solid to unique prints.
6. Shoes. Think a conservative styled heel, in either red, pink or black.
This should give you the Miranda look, as far as her person. You might want to carry around a little red headed baby doll, and have someone that looks like Steve by your side. You could even get a high fashion stroller and walk the baby around with your costume. The classic look would be to have Miranda in a cute sleeveless, colorful dress with a nice stroller with Brady inside.
