Sex Slavery in Texas and the Mormon Church

Does God Want Old Men to Sleep with Young Girls?

Zane WaltZ
For years, reporter Mike Watkiss has been reporting on TV about the abuses of the splinter Mormon group and their twisted sexual practices. Here in Arizona it was no secret that these dirty old men were hiding behind their "religious rights". What the hell does that mean anyway?

Finally everyone is outraged, but the people of Utah and Arizona knew all about this sex slavery. In, particular those of the Mormon faith knew. As I recall Mike Watkiss reporting, he said that the Mormon Church (LDS) had distanced itself from this group.

Perhaps the Mormon leaders in Utah could have taken some of the money they have made tax free, while engaged in many businesses, to hire some investigators. Could it be that these two groups are not so distant cousins? Was there sympathy at LDS headquarters?

Perhaps the same sheep mentality existed within the Mormon Church that existed under Hitler. It must have been easy for this splinter group of the church to make the men follow a self proclaimed prophet. He promised them almost as many virgins as the Muslim religion does. Warren Jeffs is a more evil man than Saddam Hussein. Sex slavery in the name of religion is none the less still sex slavery.

Where were all the Mormon leaders while sex slavery occurred in their state done in the name of their religion? Were they too focused on real estate deals in Phoenix? Were they counting their tithes?

Perhaps the LDS church should have formed a posse and broken into the walled sex slavery headquarters in Texas. Instead they sheltered these perverts by looking the 0ther way.

Now, I must admit that I like the LDS church and the people in it. I am guilty myself of knowing about this from the reports and yet not taking more action. It is now time for the LDS to take full accountability. They should hire independent investigators from outside the church and even their religion to investigate these splinter groups.

It is no secret that the Mormon Faith has a long history of this practice. They should quit hiding it and start explaining. I don't know any Mormons like the scum in Texas who are soiling their good name. The good Mormons like I know should step forward and loudly support the efforts to root out these modern day religious pimps.

Should the LDS faithful continue to look away and turn to run from repudiating the sex slavery of the splinter church groups, they will be as guilty as the blind followers during the Third Reich.

The LDS church distances themselves... and why??? because if the truth were known, everyone would leave. hmmm... the other posters don't know much about mormon history. The Flds is MUCH more like the original Mormon church, following much more closely with the official *revelations*/ doctrine given by the founders; ie, Jo Smith and Brigham Young. Polygamy, The United Order, One world government (theological government)... Yes, in my research I have found Warren to be more like Joseph than the "latter day" prophets. fyi, I was a member for 20 yrs, devoted my life, and money, raised my kids in the teachings of the mainstream LDS church, UNTIL... I GAVE MYSELF PERMISSION to seek the truth, and allow the Holy Spirit to bear witness of it to me. And its not in my bosom.

What a bunch of crap! Zane is so confused that he is afraid to pull his head out of the sand and look around. Mormons detest these polygamous nuts. Nobody who thinks like they do can be a Mormon in good standing.

Should the Seventh Day Adventists be blamed for the Branch Davidians? Should the Catholic Church in Rome be blamed for the actions of priests and nuns in Rwanda? Should the Catholic Church be blamed for actions by the Lutherans?

These polygamous have never been a member of the Mormon Church. Perhaps their granddaddies were 100 years ago, but nobody currently.

These polygamous groups run around attacking other polygamous groups for being heretics from the truth. Perhaps the FLDS are the best known because of their criminal history, but there are many polygamy groups that reject any connection to Mormonism.

I lived in Utah for several years and was amused by the wholesomeness of the local Mormons, but they have no connection to these inbreds that molest th

I agree with both Natalie and Carl. Additionally, I have read statements by offiicials from the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS in Salt Lake
City, which clarifies that the FLDS is not in any way affiliated with the LDS. Anyone sincerely interested in ascertaining the stance of the
LDS can do so at www.lds.org. Thank you!

I don't think it is the responsiblity of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints to do something about the FLDS church, which has no connetion to them. The goverment and law enforcements should take care of this.
