Sexy Bunny Halloween Costume

Penny Laine
Maybe you are a fan of Playboy and The Girls Next Door, maybe you fell in love with Anna Faris in The House Bunny, maybe you have a bunny or just love bunnies, or maybe you are just looking for a sexy costume and bunny seemed like the obvious choice. I want to tell you how to dress up as a sexy bunny for this Halloween holiday season.

Clothing
For your costume, you could always go out and buy a pre-made sexy bunny Halloween costume, but it's always more fun to make your own and you don't want to end up at a party with people wearing an identical costume. For you creative ladies who want to look sexy and unique, putting together a sexy bunny costume can be easy. You will need a leotard, body suit (Victoria's Secret carries some really nice ones), or even a corset as your base. Keep in mind that if you choose a corset, you'll want to wear it over a leotard or something else that will cover you up on the bottom because there isn't going to be much more to the costume. Pink is going to be the most popular option, but if you are going for a realistic sexy bunny, you'll need tan, white, or black.

If you are comfortable leaving your house in nothing but this leotard or body suit, then more power to you, but personally I feel like I would need a little more coverage before I could try to go to a party or out in public in general. I love tutus and petticoats and I think that paired with the body suit, it could help class up your sexy bunny Halloween costume or at least make it a little more modest. You might want to go tanning, do some fake tanning (spray on), or just wear some pantyhose with this costume so your exposed legs don't seem too pasty.

Accessories
You are going to need a nice pair of rabbit ears. Most of your options are going to be on a headband and they will be available all over the place since it is close to Halloween. Make sure you get ears that will match your costume. Since you are trying to be a sexy bunny, you should look for ears that are made with satin or that are feathery, something with a lot of texture because it will make people want to touch them. Another important accessory that you will need for a bunny costume is of course the tail. This is going to be the easiest part of your costume, you could use a large cotton ball, a puff for applying powder makeup, or you could go to a craft store and get a large pom pom, then you will just need to pin the cotton tail at the same level as the dimple above your bottom. If you are wearing a skirt, pin the tail to the skirt. If you are trying to specifically be a Playboy bunny, you will need a black bowtie to tie your look together.

Hair
Hair is not going to be really specific for this type of costume since real bunnies don't have hair. You know if you look better with your hair up or your hair down, so wear it however makes you feel sexy. If you think that you look best with an up-do, my personal favorite up-do is the Audrey Hepburn "pineapple" 'do which can be seen at this website. If you're going to do an up-do you should really try to do something like this or at least something different than a regular old ponytail or bun so you will feel sexier. The sexier you feel, the sexier you will seem to other people.

Makeup
Makeup is another thing that is not all that specific for this costume. Smoky eyes are always great for looking sexy at night. There is a great tutorial for this on this website. You may also want to draw a little triangle on the end of your nose to make you look more like a rabbit, but honestly it isn't all that necessary and it might make you look a little less sexy. If you do the smoky eyes, brighten up your cheeks with some blush so you don't look washed out and don't use too dark of a color for your lips.

Being a sexy bunny for Halloween this year can make you feel like the definition of beauty. Make sure you bring your confidence and personality and it will make your costume look that much better.
