Jud's Bio
At twenty-eight, Jud is tall and muscular with broad shoulders, narrow hips, and a nice derriere. His father is Pulitzer-Prize winner Ogden Thorensen of Norwegian heritage; his mother is Helen Kís Holmes Thorensen, whose brother is Konrad Kís Holmes, curator of a major contemporary art museum in Budapest--Helen and Konrad are heirs to several businesses, including Monarch of Mineral Waters, originating from Borviz, Transylvania. Jud has a brother and a sister--Pastor Jared Thorensen, a Mainer, and teenage Lisbeth.

All aforementioned were born in the US--except for Jud. By a fluke event surrounding a family tragedy, he was born, in Transylvania--lending to his mystique. A wealthy patron of the arts, he collects the work of contemporary artists. He writes mysteries as well as books on spirituality and sex--his best friend is his publisher, Bill Harcourt. With monastic tendencies, Jud meditates and does yoga. He is kind and compassionate. Sex is the running theme of his life. Danger underscores it.
