Shade

A Poem for Halloween

J L Carey Jr
Look closely and you will see
The shadow of its sorrow
Long and grossly misshapened

Slipping inconspicuous
From vacant hearts and hollows
Then folding back to darkness

Very eerie - poem and pic. Remember a soalr eclipse in the UK. All the birds stopped singing instantly when the eclipse came.

"From vacant hearts and hollows"- an interesting Halloween poem indeed, a bit melancholic but wonderfully written. I especially love the picture...its pretty awesome!

Eerie and haunting though enlightening at the same time....I choose many concepts rather than one....keep the eyes fully open.

As a Christian, I must say that no spirit has to " fold back to darkness." Such a melancoly poem.

Wonderful bit of mythos here. Gives shade and shadow deeper meaning. Great pictures too.
