I am shadow
I walk unseen, unheard.
My steps have no echo,
My touch is unfelt --
A whisper of wind, nothing more.
Drawn shades, dark windows,
Rooms empty save for dust
Streets abandoned to the night.
I walk alone.
I am shadow.
I walk unseen, unheard.
My steps have no echo,
My touch is unfelt --
A whisper of wind, nothing more.
Drawn shades, dark windows,
Rooms empty save for dust
Streets abandoned to the night.
I walk alone.
I am shadow.

Very haunting poem. I'm very impressed.
I loved it. I feel invisible sometimes, that is worse than shadow.
I am jealous of your shadow. Thank You fer sharin'. Mizpah. ;-}}>
You remind me more of Kipling's The Cat Who Walks By Himself, than of a low impact shadow, Laurel. You definitely leave unforgettable impression (and I'm very grateful for it!)! :o)
Super!!!
Brava!
I have been shadow before too and it sucks. Excellent poem.
