Shaheen Jafargholi: New Brit Talent

First there was Susan Boyle. Then there was Hollie Steel.

These were the talents that touched the hearts not only of the Brits but also of the entire world.

But I recently saw the audition of Britain's Got Talent and found another one--Shaheen Jafargholi. This young boy started out a song by Amy Winehouse, which was rather rudely interrupted by Simon Cowell. I thought, oh my, this is just like what happened to Hollie Steel's audition. So much for the ballet dancing thingy, she belted out a song!

Simon then asked Shaheen if the boy could sing another song. Shaheen then belted out a not-so-popular song by Michael Jackson which turned out to be a hit among the judges and the audience. Eventually, he got a standing ovation from the entire arena.

Despite the theatrics of his audition, which I do not necessarily approve, I cannot deny the fact that Shaheen definitely has talent. This boy could really sing! And he can sing very well! This boy has definitely a good chance of winning this season's finals.

This will definitely be a difficult season for the judges and there are three very able and interesting contestants who are vying for the title. Who will it be? Will it be Susan, Hollie, or Shaheen? Or will another one emerge?
