Shahrukh Khan King of Bollywood

Shahrukh Khan was born on November 2, 1965 in New Delhi,India. He was born to muslim parents, his father Taj Mohammed Khan was a freedom fighter for Peshawar, Pakistan and his mother was Lateef Fatima. Shahrukh Khan has an older siser named Shehnaz. In 1991 Shahrukh Khan married Gauri Khan who was of the Hindu religion. They have two children together: a son, Aryan, born in 1997 and a daughter, Suhana, born in 2000. Shahrukh Khan strongly believes in his religous faith but says he respects his wifes religion and allows his children to follow both religions at home.

Career

Bollywood King Shahrukh Khan studied acting under the famous Barry John at Delhi's Theatre Action Group. His acting debut came in 1988 on a t.v. series called Fauji. Shahrukh Khan continued appearing in many more television series untill 1992 when he got his big break and starred in a hit Bollywood film called Deewana.

The movie also helped launch his career and a successful one at that, because ever since the start of his career he has been a hit and favored by his fans. Although he is a sensational actor his career in 1996 hit a downfall because all the movies he made that year failed at the Box Office. But come 1997 his career picked back up and unlike many of his fellow actors he has yet to see another low point in his career. In 1999 Shahrukh Khan partnered up with actress Juhi Chawla and director Aziz Mirza and set up his very own production company called Dreamz Unlimited. Then in 2004 he set up another production company named Red Chillies Entertainment. Shahrukh Khan also was a television host for Kaun Banega Corepati whis is the Indian version of Who Wants to be a Millionare, along with the show Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain which is the Indian version of Are You Smarter then a 5th Grader.
