Shania Twain and Valerie Bertinelli's Wedding Dresses (See Them Here!)

Carol Whyte
Shania Twain and Valerie Bertinelli are giving love a second chance and to prove it, both women married their respective partners, Frederic Thiebaud and Tom Vitale on January 1. Of course both Shania and Valerie donned beautiful wedding dresses and while a photo image of Valerie's is not yet public, a drawing by the man who designed her dress, David Meister, was provided to People.

Shania wore a simple strapless white gown that was classic in style and accented with a colored sash. She also wore a cathedral length veil and apparently bought the dress at a boutique near her home in Switzerland. In the following photo, Thiebaud is carrying his new wife's shoes which are reportedly by Calvin Klein.

Valerie Bertinelli wore a dress designed by David Meister who received the wedding dress order just two weeks before the big event. It wasn't a big deal for Meister, however, as he had been creating dresses for Valerie since 2008.

Meister created a blue silk chiffon gown that had a deep neckline and accented her tiny waist. According to Bertinelli's trainer, Christopher Lane, the dress accentuated "all of her best parts."

On January 1, 2011, Shania married Theibaud in Rincon, Puerto Rico in front of 40 close family members and friends while Valerie married Vitale in Malibu Beach with 100 of their closest friends and family.

This week's issue of People will feature the story about Valerie's wedding and a photo album.
