Now that Shaq is back for game 3 the Celtics has a presence in the middle. Shaq might not be the same "Superman" he once was, but he's still big! Which means he can clog the lane and stop D Wade and LeBron James from attacking the basket so much. Also Shaq will be there for rebounding which the Boston Celtics need. Doc Rivers will have to monitor his minutes. All the Boston Celtics fans better hope that all of his injuries are healed and that he doesn't reinjure himself.
Will this be Shaqs last year are will he be able to heal during the summer? That question has not been discussed that much but if the Miami Heat do the seemingly impossible and sweep the Boston Celtics then the answer will have to be top priority. Shaq has been a great player and in my opinion I'd like to see him come back next year healthy and play. That's just me as a fan not wanting the Big Man to retire. When he retires he says he wants a talk show are something like that. I don't know how that will work but anything is better then sitting at home getting fat. Shaq is not built to be fat he better keep it moving after he retires.
Rondo Is Doing Fine
It's been some people saying Rondo needs to step it up. It's not him it's the entire Boston Celtics team as a whole that needs to step up. Ray Allen need to have a big game and the way he can do that is if Rondo hits him with the ball in the right spots. Rondo is the point guard the only way he can have a great game is if the other players on the Boston Celtics knock down shots. It's that simple the ball has to go in the basket tonight for the critics to get off of Rondo's back.
The point guards for the Miami Heat have not slowed Rondo down at all. The Boston Celtics have slowed him down and a back injury. Expect the Boston Celtics and Rondo to have a big game 3 against the Miami Heat. Expect a win also. The Celtics get to play at home and that is going to motivate Rondo to elevate his game. In doing so that is going to motivate the rest of the team to step it up. Rondo realizes that he is not dealing with a group of kids that are new to the NBA; he knows he's dealing with Hall of Fame Players that want another Ring!
