Though the song has not been given an official name by O'Neal, based upon the refrain, one could assume the name to be "Kobe How's My @$$ Taste?" Throughout the song, Shaq took stabs at Kobe Bryant for his failure to lead the Lakers past the Celtics last week, despite the fact that the Heat were on their way to the NBA's worst record with Shaq this year, and he did little, if anything to help the Suns after arriving in Phoenix. Shaq also took a jab at Bryant, accusing him of ruining Shaq's marriage by suggesting that Shaq had paid over a million dollars in hush money to mistresses over the years. Just out of curiosity, does Shaq hold any responsibility for having mistresses?
Shaq also took a stab at former Knicks center, Patrick Ewing when he coined the phrase, "It's like Patrick Ewing having more rings than me." Patrick Ewing was a perennial All-Star who exhibited great leadership during his NBA career. He was a player who spent almost his entire career in one city and became the face of a franchise. Outside of his NBA career, he also won two Olympic gold medals and an NCAA title. Why would Shaq need to take a stab at a player like this? Sure, O'Neal's four championship rings are impressive, but not nearly as impressive as Michael Jordan's six rings or Robert Horry's seven rings or Bill Russell's eleven rings. I think Shaq may be a little more impressed with his four titles than anyone else is.
During his rap, Shaq also took a shot at a Kareem, presumably Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, insinuating that Shaq was by far the better player. Assuming that this Kareem was in fact Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, I wonder if Shaq is aware that this Laker legend won five NBA championships and six MVP awards.
Shaq has always tried to be somewhat of a Renaissance Man trying out different things in the off-season whether it be putting together a rap album, staring in a movie like "Blue Chips," or acting as a police officer. Coming out of college, Shaquille O'Neal appeared to have the talent to become the greatest big man to ever play the game, but instead, he became known as the best player to consistently come into training camp out of shape. Perhaps if he put down the mic and picked up a ball in the off-season, he might raise his game to the point that other people would rap about how great he is, and he wouldn't have to.
