Delicious in the afternoon sun,
My kitchen has become,
A place where we come to meet.
My kitchen has become,
A place where we come to meet.
Like the first time I saw you,
Your brown eyes aglow,
With love and laughter,
And years of shared disasters.
I love to watch your bare feet,
On the floors, go back and forth,
Wearing down the walls of my heart,
And creating memories for me.
I don't want to think of them,
until they're no more.
If by chance I am the sole survivor,
Over every last one I will pour.
