Shark! Oh no! Look at that shark!
Get out of the water, please, oh my,
the water seems so scary and dark.
Move out of the way I say,
the creature is not there to say "hi."
Just watch out and I will pray!
Wait a second now, this seems really odd,
I may not actually have to cry!
This shark, it seems, is actually a bit of a nimrod.
The shark is swimming the other way.
Is he slow or just really shy?
This my friend, by God, is your lucky day!

Post a CommentOn our last day in Daytona we saw a video on the news about a shark that jumped out of the water just behind some boogie boarders - glad my kiddos didn't see that at the beginning of our vacation!
Close encounter poem and picture!
Whoa! What a close call!
Great job (scary photo)
Been here before, but nice job.
Great article.
Your husband is one lucky guy! I would have been speechless with my heart in my throat!
Great poem, and fantastic photo. Hopefully it's a dolphin in the photo and not a shark!
OMG! : O
I think I would pass out -- cheers
