Sharp EL233SB Electronic Pocket Calculator Review

JR Smith
Everyone needs a calculator for simple math problems. What everyone doesn't need are those brick calculators that do calculus, scientific equations and other large scale mathematics. No one needs to hurt their brains trying to operate a scientific calculator when adding up the grocery budget or calculating income tax. That's why everyone not in college or high school should look into buying a Sharp EL233SB pocket calculator. It's simple calculator really that can do all basic operations such as add, subtract, multiply and divide. Most folks generally do not need much more than that.

This Sharp calculator is perfect for travel as well because of its tiny size. It is a pocket calc after all! If you need to take one on business trips or on a plan or to the office, it will be there at your service. Likewise, if one is needed just around the home then it is the perfect little calc to have. It will do all the basic equations so you don't have to. It even allows square roots, percentage and other useful functions. I often take mine to resturants to figure out the tip percentage for the waitress. It can be difficult to come up with the correct amount on the spot like that and having this little thing makes all the difference in the world.

It has a pretty basic look which is understandable since it has no bells or whisles. The outer plastic is all grey with some darker grey buttons. The M buttons and functions are colored purple for better visability and use. The primary display is digital like most calculators and is crisp and easy to read. Overall, I'm happy with the Sharp EL2EESB calculator. It's light, compact and easy to use for my calculating needs. They're pretty cheap to so it should be hard to go buy one.
