The can is bright pink, with a white pump top. It has a clear plastic cap. On the top of the pump it has EOS, and also has the name, which means 'the evolution of smooth' as well. It also states that you can shave wet or dry, it is paraben-free, and has natural aloe & shea butter. The bottle is non-slip, and also has great grips. Someone really thought out this design.
This sounds a wonderful product, and if it is as good as the lip balm then I won't be disappointed.
So I decided to try the EOS Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream dry. I pressed down on the pump top several times and then got a ribbon of white cream. I applied it to under my arms, and then got the Gillette Fusion Proglide Power Razor. I pressed the button, and did under my arms. I loved the smell that wafted up to my nose.
I then rinsed the shaver in warm water. The hairs came off but the shaving cream stayed between the 5 blades. I drained the water away and got hot water, and this time the cream disappeared.
From here I went to my bikini area, and then my legs. I loved the fact that I didn't have to wet these areas. I don't shave, when in the shower as it is a stall, and the light is bad. Therefore I put a towel down on the floor to stop the drips of the water, when shaving. With EOS I didn't have to do this. The only water, and as I mentioned, hot water was in the basin, to rinse the razor.
My skin felt smooth under my arms and legs. The shave cream and the razor did pretty well on the bikini area, but that is never going to be smooth. It was great that I didn't have to use a moisturizing cream/lotion afterward. My skin had a wonderful smell, and really was hydrated.
Directions from the bottle:
"Pump two or three times. Apply thin layer to legs, underarms, or bikini. Shave. Touch. Smile.
Not tested on animals.
No animal by-products."
I have to say that this is my new, and favorite shave cream. Not only does it make you feel feminine, but no messing with water, or foam. It is great that it contains vitamins E & C, as well as natural aloe, oat and shea butter.
I haven't tried it wet, but why would I want to?
