She Comes by Every Day....

She comes by, every single day,
I don't mind having someone to talk to--
But with everything that she has to say....
I am just wondering what I should do!!

She comes by, spreading rumors and lies,
Nothing nice to say about or even "to" anyone--
When you approach her about it she sighs...
And claims she isn't poking fun!

We asked her to stop, tell her it's not nice,
But this woman is like 60 years old---
And yes, we've even tried saying it twice;
She doesn't care, she doesn't do what she's told!

I know she needs a friend, truly I do,
And I don't like giving people the boot--
But with all that she puts me through;
I know I need to tell her to scoot!!

We've tried explaining, tried asking, tried telling--
But nothing seems to get through;
And I truly don't want to start yelling!
But I honestly don't know what to do!

I've thought about it, I've went to others,
Everyone knows, and they keep away;
But because I am not like the others--
This woman comes to my house every single day!!

My Children have even corrected this lady,
Tried to guide her down the right path--
She proved herself as more then just "shady"
And all they did was ask!!!

Now that she continues with her hatred and lies,
My Children have asked her to go away--
It didn't make her stop and realize;
Instead, she waits til there gone to come my way!

So I decided to stick up for myself and my friends,
She didn't want to hear it, and then denied it all!
I think I want and need this "relationship" to end;
I don't even want her to call!!

They say you can't teach and old dog new tricks,
I think it must be the same for old people;
Because this woman makes so sick---
And I also think she's feeble!

We're supposed to respect our Elders I know,
But how can you do that when they are so mean?
This woman puts on a heck of a show--
And also makes a very terrible scene!

She never does anything wrong,
And has done everything under the sun--
She's lived a life so long;
And done everything we've ever done!

I'm at a loss for words,
And at a loss of wits--
I'm so done with this crap;
And I think it's the pits!!

Disclaimer: I realize not all old people are mean and feeble. But for those of you who ARE, you need to think about those around you, who you are truly hurting, and about the lives that you do "touch!" It's called cause and effect, I won't forget...
