His thoughts are of her.
There is no mistake,
Burning incense for cure
In bed, each other,
Their first, wanting perfection.
Talking, not touching.
There was lust on their minds,
But only for a moment in time,
For how can there be lust,
When there is so much love and trust?
The pain pills no longer working,
She softly kisses his head,
In an effort to relieve his pain,
Her gentle touch helps mend.
A love so beautiful,
There could be no other,
A love made in heaven,
One with each other.
He finally sleeps,
The pain has now subsided,
She by his side weeps.
She rest her head upon his chest.
Yes I was in a lot of pain, lawn tractor turned over, I landed on my shoulder, and in pain I remain. If only she were here.

I am sorry about your accident, my friend...I do hope that you are feeling better...you are in my prayers...beautiful poem!
Ken, once again you have the words of a true poet. Wonderful illustration of the reality of physical pain and someone doing their all and their emotions involved, lust, love, and pain. She most definately is with you, in your heart and your soul; keeping next to you in your words. The inspiration that guides you and leads you. Wonderful once again my friend. Always here for you as you have been there for me.....Delin aka Catdog
