She loved animals. She was the proud owner of dogs, chickens, geese and ducks. She was going to be a vet. She is survived by her English Mastiff, Purdy and her Great Dane, Winston. She was my mother.
She was a strawberry blonde. She was beautiful. She had green eyes. She was thin. She was a size four. She was overweight. She was self-conscious. She was my mother.
She wanted so much. She got so little. She didn't care. She was my mother.
She loved Christmas. She loved Halloween. She loved her family. She loved her friends. She loved nature. She loved her life. She was my mother.
She was strong. She could be intimating. She could be funny. She could be scary. She could be incredibly silly. She could be your best friend. She could be your worst enemy. She was my mother.
She had an eye for detail. She had an eye for clothes. She had an eye for color coordination. She had an eye for boys. She had an eye for Wade. She had an eye for Danny. She had an eye for Eddie. She was my mother.
She was a lover. She was a fighter. She was sexy. She was a physical woman. She was an aggressive woman. She was playful. She was my mother.
She lived in her own world. She had dreams that she would only share with her son. She would only respect anyone who showed her respect. She would get even with anyone who disrespected her. She was my mother.
She was a tomboy. She was independent. She was stubborn. She was my mother.
She only wanted the best for herself. She only wanted the best for her child. She only wanted the best for her mother, father and brothers. She only wanted the best for her ex-husband. She was my mother.
She was a loving sister. She was a loving wife. She was a caring ex-wife. She was a loving daughter. She was my mother.
She was 48. She was healthy. She was happy. It was March 7th. It was the beginning of 2009. It was a bright and beautiful morning. It was a new day. It was a new life. My mother was gone.
I will never forget any of these things I love about my mother.
