How to Wear Shearling for Women Over 40: The casual luxury and warmth of shearling is good news for older women. The Burberry Prorsum jacket may be the most visible fashion trend with its cropped aviator style and shearling trim, but there are also plenty of sheepskin lined boots and ladylike totes. Shearling gets paired with feminine silk dresses, business-like pencil skirts and tough leather trousers. Mature women who prefer to avoid trapper hats or UGGs have plenty of options.
