Sherwin-Williams Saturated Paint Colors for 2011

Sherwin-Williams' Indigo Batick

At the heart of the 2011 interior wall color palette is a deep inky-blue. A similar blue, a blue print and printing can be found in other paint company trend palettes for 2011. For Sherwin-Williams the color is deep and dense, Indigo Batick (SW 7602). Imagine dipping an entire wall into the darkest of blues and letting the wall absorb the color for a few weeks. The result would be Indigo Batick.

The deep blue of far space and ocean depths could cozy up any large bedroom or infuse elegance into dining area, where the blue may be surprising.

Sherwin-Williams' Eclipse

Delve deep into the forest and forage on the ground for grayish and dark mossy green, Eclipse (SW 6166). If you need something stronger than the normal sage, Eclipse is for you. The green color mimics a camouflage green, helping spread the military undertones found in home decor and fashion in 2011. The effective is a protective one, a way to provide a natural sanctuary with an earthy color.

Sherwin-Williams' Purple Passage

Before you get completely comfortable with the cushions of dark hues, Sherwin-Williams' Purple Passage (SW 6551) presents a mystery. Pair it with tapestries and patterned fabrics, or as a bold contrast to your favorite faux animal skin home accessory. with Purple Passage providing a backdrop for any leather furniture.

Sherwin-Williams' Burgundy

Don't even think of pairing 2011's Burgundy (SW 6300) hue with a sage green or country blue. Uncork this Burgundy vintage needs a bright friend to make it work. Consider the bright Glitzy Gold (SW 6691) or use deep Eclipse green. The Burgundy works with Purple Passage especially when toned down with a mustardy Alchemy (SW 6395). The effect is elegant and majestic.
