Shimmering Summer

David Lanier
Do you ever view the gorgeous summer sunrise,
as it's new born morning brightness softly
pierces the shifting nightly haze?
And marvel at the softly inspired beauty
of it's life giving summer rays?
Do you ever marvel at the crystal rain drops,
which softly imprints all the glorious
colorings of the new born rose?
Do you ever marvel at all the shimmering
enchantment summer brings to all the other
beauty that in your garden grows?
Do you ever wonder how the life giving
wonders of summer brings out all the
unbelievable aromas to everything it touches?
Is your heart in tune each fleeting day of
wistful dreaming, that summer stays
forever and winter never comes?

Nice images - but I am not a summer person. I prefer February to August, although April-May and October-November are my favorites.
