Asian tea is the loose leaf tea emphasis and the oolong tea leaf is especially used for many of Shinka's bubble tea. Other favorite tea leaves are the Indian estate teas and the Japanese gyokuro. Besides the exotic teas, this tea shop also serves lavender, chamomile and English teas. Patrons can purchase tea by the pound and the high quality selection will satisfy even the pickiest tea connoisseur.

Bubble tea is a popular Taiwanese style milk tea that utilizes fresh tea derived from the oolong tea leaf, milk and sweetener. The bubbles come in the form of small tapioca balls that are chewy and soft in texture. The tapioca balls are an optional component for the bubble tea, but should be tried for the more adventurous type. Fruit smoothies, sake and tea smoothies are also offered. Espresso drinks are also served for those who absolutely need their coffee fix.
