Shiseido Elixir Offers Amazing Winter Skin Care

A few weeks ago, I ran out of my favorite lifting lotion, Shiseido Elixir. Not that lifting is something that I look for in product, but it's something I tried because it was on sale at my local Shiseido shop. I loved the way it felt on my skin over the hot summer months. It's perfect for the summer weather. It's light, smooth and didn't get greasy or heavy with makeup. Little did I know that my trip down "on sale alley" would find me the moisturizer that works best for my skin type.

I didn't really know, however, until I voyaged to my local Walmart to make some mundane purchases. I walked down the cosmetics aisle, and to the detriment of my skin, I made a total tight-wad purchase. Olay, a brand I grew up seeing in my mom's cosmetic collection, was on sale. By impulse, I threw it in my basket and headed to the check-out stand.

Within a few cold days,my skin started to peel. I haven't seen this type of cold-weather skin reaction since I was a kid. Without hesitation, I switched back to my Shiseido Elixir Lifting Emulsion II. Just a few days later, I had my firm, hydrated skin back to normal. Hey - who can't use an extra lift?
