Shock of Mumbai Attacks Still Haunting People - It's Time to Get Back to Ourselves

Even many days after the Mumbai attack, which shocked the whole India, many people are still under stress. The terrorist attacks in Mumbai have given a red alert to the security of people in India. Still, we cannot completely blame the Government and other authorities. In those days, we had come to know how important the security guards of our country are for us. The brave NSG commandos and the other security personnels risked their lives to save our lives. Before beginning the article, let's share a moment of silence to pay our tribute to our saviors.

According to the captured terrorist, the terrorists didn't think that the commandos would reach the spot that very quickly. They had planned to kill 5000 people and completely destroy the Taj. But, their all plans went in vain as the commandos entered the game of life and death. The captured terrorist said that they knew that the security personnels in the Railway Station were unarmed. They had decided to directly attack them, because they thought that the Police would run away as they see the terrorists firing at them with AK-47. But, on the contrary, it was the terrorists who ran. The Policemen, unarmed, charged onto the terrorists with their lathis and this was something unexpected for the terrorists.

As the first footages of the attack in Police Station were revealed, the braveness of the Policemen can be clearly seen-they didn't withdraw even when the terrorists where continually firing at them. I had seen the footages on NDTV when they were first released.

This attack was one, which we Indians had only seen in the movies - the terrorists striking with a bang, unexpectedly, and the brave security personnels of our country becoming the saviors of our country.

Anyway, it has all passed, and we had had only losses. So, let's hope for a new tomorrow, when we all shall be saying to our future, "Our country was caught up in a mayhem in the year 2008, when our brave soldiers risked and dedicated their lives for our country. That was the incident after which our country became so strong and united."

It is all over and let us hope that anything like this will never happen again. It's time for us to forget everything and start building a new tomorrow. Life never has a dead end. It keeps going on and on.
