Shocker? Obama's Energy Czar Has Not Read the Entire Cap and Trade Bill
Liberals Claim to Be Intellects but Can They Read?
"Hey Carol, I've heard the bill is over 1,000 pages long... Have you read it?" Such a simple question, yet "Energy Czar" Carol Browner seemed shocked that the question was asked in the first place. Can you guess what the answer was? Go ahead...take a guess.
Of course she did not read the entire bill. "Oh I'm very familiar with this bill" was the first sentence out of her mouth. Immediately, anyone who was watching Fox & Friends knew she had not read the bill. The "energy czar" continued to stutter and stammer her way through the interview by claiming "I've read MAJOR PORTIONS of it, absolutely."
There is no wonder why President Obama refuses to come on Fox News. A simple question, like the one Steve Doocy asked, could expose him for who he is. A empty suit who is not a smooth talker without his teleprompter and plain bold-faced liar.
Not reading their own bills has become a blatantly clear policy of liberals today. I knew it was always a myth when liberals claim how highly intellectual they are. Maybe liberals are illiterate?
I mean, come on, look at our education system. Liberals are pretty much in charge of the system and look at how that is going. No wonder our children score so low on those reading tests.
Liberals do not know how to read. Its like putting someone who is blind in charge of the shooting range. You are going to bite the bullet.
The pattern of not reading bills is the "norm" with this administration. The liberal pattern is off kilter. This is how the liberals pass legislation in the Obama administration.
First, they (Liberals) debate the bill but do not let the opposing side (Republicans) voice concerns. Then they (Liberals) start calling the opposing party (Republicans) names like "The Party of No" and claiming, in the (Liberal) news media, that the Republicans have no new ideas. How would Liberals know what the ideas are since they will not listen?
Next, the bill is voted on. It is always rushed, by the Liberals, with deadlines set and the false claims that if it isn't passed it will only get worse. Who cares what the American taxpayer thinks or wants? A vote is necessary regardless of costs or concerns.
Then it is time to enact legislation. Special interests and pork are added to make their constituents fat, happy and ever so yummy. Then it is feed to us like the second-coming of the Savior.
It should end with our non-representing representatives signing the bill into law. However the House of "Representatives" is only the beginning. The bill then goes to Congress where it is "tweaked" and "manipulated" to make their constituents happy. Here is where a bill lives or dies.
The "final stage" is where Congress "rewrites" the Bill. They will add and subtract items that they either like or do not like. It is also where a lot of behind closed door deals happen.
Take the Cap and Trade bill which is really a Tax and Tax-to-death bill. The bill is over 1,200 pages in length and like Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) told The Hill when asked why he reads portions of the cap-and-trade bill on the floor? Boehner replied "hey, people deserve to know what's in this pile of sh*t." People, I just found my new hero!
Boehner filibustered the House of Representatives for over an hour, reading through the Cap and Trade bill, which he has entitled "Speaker Pelosi's National Energy Tax." Like a lot of people, Rep. Boehner is sick and tired of individuals like Henry Waxman, a Democrat from the bankrupt state of California who co-sponsored the bill, putting forth bills that they have not read.
The back story is that Democrat Henry Waxman, who co-sponsored the Cap and Trade bill, added 300 pages of amendments at 3:09 a.m. to the bill. Nobody was given time to read those 300 pages and I can guarantee Waxman didn't either. Just listen to him in this youtube link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rHOxnZDbDU&feature=related
While Rep. Boehner was speaking, Waxman interrupted and wanted to know if there was a time limit to the speech. This is odd. Does Waxman not even know the rules of the House of Representatives? Watch rat-boy...err..Waxman in this youtube clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQFvw20V6RE&feature=related
People like Henry Waxman, Carol Browner and other Liberal are the reason we are in this mess. They have the audacity (you like that don't ya?) to put forth bills which they "hope" will "change" America as we know it. Right now they are doing both and it is not what most want.
The Cap and Trade bill is estimated to cost the American taxpayer only another $846 billion dollars. Now with the government's fuzzy math calculations, its closer to $1 trillion dollars..or $2 trillion...or $3 trillion...you just never know since the Liberals do not care because it is not their money that is being spent...its YOURS!
As in past articles, I have expressed that we are THEIR employers. I believe if you do not have the time to read bills that you want passed, you should be fired. Do what you took an oath to do and represent US, not your special interest group and corporations.
Why are we allowing these liberal nuts to run rampant over our lives and the U.S. Constitution? We have 3 and a half years left under Obama, however, we have 2010 to vote out his liberal cronies. Start at the top with Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank, Charles Schumer, Charlie Rangel, John Murtha and work our way down to the little rats like Henry Waxman.
We need to be the ones who clean the swamps. We also need to start demanding term limits on our Representatives. Time to end the life-long careers of these illiterate lib-tards.

Post a CommentThese usurpers haven't read anything they sign, or seemingly anything of import in America - ya know, history books, books explaining economic theory that are based on hundreds of years of economic observations, and clearly these SOB's think that since the Constitution is such a "living document" they haven't read that bastard either. Guess they're waiting for the "living" part of the Constitution to become DEAD, then they can read it and toss out the parts they don't like. The parts that restrict President's from serving for life, the parts that restrict all the things they desire to do?
I just want to thank Rep.s Boehner, Paul, and Tennessee's own Duncan and Wamp, to name just a few, for having the guts to stand up and question the shenanigans of the Democrats and their quest for total control of all facets of life in America. Yeah, I know, these cretins claim they just don't have time to read the legislation they so readily sign. So remind me, sir, just exactly what the hell are we paying them to do, then?
