There's no job beneath dignity,
Just give me clean shoes (... boot?)
Needed at mine, yard, up a tree -
I'll whistle, work and hoot!
Feet happy ... I need little else
To smile at Fate's decrees
Forget lunch so long as my shelves
Hold a dry pair for me.
Quatrain 2 (Hymnal Variation)
When hired for jobs great or small
Full forty hours weekly
Clean socks (given for one and all)
Spell health: My feet decree!
Some folk hold tightly to their socks
Reasons are not all smelly;
My non-jock feet smell of dry "rocks" ...
No athlete's feet; no money!
