Shooting Guard (SG) Sleepers - Top 3

Jordan Crawford - Was - pg/sg

After a mid-season trade from Atlanta to Washington as a rookie last season, Crawford exploded onto the NBA scene after receiving consistent playing time in the Wizards lineup. In fact as a starter in the Wizards lineup over 18 games, Crawford racked up excellent all-around stats including 19.3 points per game. With a permanent starting spot in line for Crawford to begin this season, there is definitely plenty of potential for Crawford to become a 20 points per game, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds per game player.

2010-2011 Stats: 38.4 fg% -- 11.7 ppg -- 0.9 3pt -- 2.5 reb -- 2.8 ast -- 0.9 stl -- 0.1 blk

2011-2012 Projected Stats: 40 fg% -- 20 ppg -- 1.0 3pt -- 4.0 reb -- 4.0 ast -- 1.0 stl -- 0.1 blk

Landry Fields - NY - sg/sf

Just a second round pick in the 2010 NBA draft, Fields exceeded all expectations as a rookie last season, including taking over the starting shooting guard job in the Knicks lineup from day one. With experience and success under his belt, Fields is an all-around stat contributor who is extremely efficient. So while Fields is unlikely to become much of a scoring threat in the Knicks offense this season, he can definitely help fantasy basketball teams by providing solid shooting percentages, rebounds, three pointers, and steals.

2010-2011 Stats: 49.7 fg% -- 9.7 ppg -- 1.1 3pt -- 6.4 reb -- 1.9 ast -- 1.0 stl -- 0.2 blk

2011-2012 Projected Stats: 50 fg% -- 10 ppg -- 1.0 3pt -- 6.5 reb -- 2.0 ast -- 1.0 stl -- 0.3 blk

Evan Turner - Phi - sg/sf

As the #2 overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft, Turner was very underwhelming with his play in the 76ers lineup. However with more playing time in store for Turner during the 2011-2012 season, there is plenty of potential for this combo shooting guard and small forward to rack up very useful fantasy basketball stats. Expecting Turner to tally a little across the board in multiple stat categories is more likely than him becoming a major force in any one major category.

2010-2011 Stats: 42.5 fg% -- 7.2 ppg -- 0.2 3pt -- 3.9 reb -- 2.0 ast -- 0.6 stl -- 0.2 blk

2011-2012 Projected Stats: 45 fg% -- 10 ppg -- 0.5 3pt -- 4.0 reb -- 2.0 ast -- 0.5 stl -- 0.3 blk
