Shop Smart by Going to Marshalls Discount Retail Clothing Store

Being a guy who does not have a lot of excess money to throw around, I have learned the value of a dollar. And being that I have so few dollars in which to value, I try my best to make each dollar go as far as I possibly can. As a result, I routinely frequent retail stores in which my dollar is able to go the farthest. One of my most-trusted and reliable of these stores is Marshalls, which is a discount clothing store that specializes in name-brand clothing at knock-off prices. Marshalls has all types of clothing: men's, women's, children's, athletic, e.t.c. They have a wide variety of name brand clothing in which to choose from - Levi, Quicksilver, Ralph Lauren, Nike, just to name a few - and they also have a very large clearance section where you can find even better deals. Actually, the clearance section is where I buy the majority of my clothing from Marshalls. Most Marshalls locations have a clearance section that is quite large, and you would be hard-pressed not to find something to your liking there. There's something gratifying about purchasing an item with a big red clearance sticker affixed to its tag; It makes me feel as if I just accomplished some great feat. It's not that I'm cheap; I prefer the term "frugal" instead!

One in a while I will actually purchase something from the non-clearance rack at Marshalls. If there is a pair of shorts or a shirt that I just can't live without - and can't wait for it to make its way to the clearance rack - I will break from tradition and pay the full price for it. But at Marshalls, thankfully, the full price is never all that high anyways. What you do have to watch out for at Marshalls is the condition of the clothing that you are purchasing. Marshalls sells First Quality clothing as well as irregular and "slightly damaged" clothing. The Marshalls tag is supposed to clearly describe the type of clothing that it is affixed to, but once in a while, if you are not careful, you will find an item that is not marked properly, or not marked at all. There have been a few times that I have selected an article of clothing that seemed perfect, only to discover at the time of check-out that it had a hole or a tear on it. It's always a good idea to inspect an article of clothing at Marshalls before buying it; the majority of times the clothing will be clearly marked as to its condition, but it's always wise to double check.

For me, personally, I feel extremely lucky in that I live in a location that is situated near many different Marshalls stores. I can drive about fifteen minutes in any direction and have access to about four different Marshalls stores. So, if I'm out shopping for a particular type or style of clothing, and I don't find it at the Marshalls store that I am currently shopping in, I just get in the car and drive a short distance to the next Marshalls store. I guess there are advantages to living in a large metropolitan area like Los Angeles County, and to me, having easy access to a large number of Marshalls locations is definitely one of those advantages!

So, if you are like me, a guy who strives to make the few dollars that he has stretch as far as he can, I would definitely recommend Marshalls for your clothes shopping. There's nothing as gratifying as saving a lot of money on items that you would normally pay much more for at a more traditional retail store. And if you are like me, you will think of a lot of different ways in which you can spend that money you will have saved by shopping at Marshalls!
