Shopping in a Bad Economy in Phillipsburg, New Jersey

Christina's Thrift and Second Hand Store is a great consignment shop. If you are struggling with money this year in the bad economy, you will definitely enjoy her store. Even if you are not struggling this year, I think you will enjoy shopping there. I have gotten clothes for the kids in her store and I have donated things, mainly clothes, to her store as well. If you have anything you would like to donate, she takes a variety of things into the store. I walk by her shop almost daily and always see a variety of different things in the front windows. She has Christmas decorations, sometimes she has furniture, she always has clothes, movies and books. Everyday I see new items added to the store front.

Everything in her store is very reasonably priced. I got jeans for my daughter in there for $2 and they were like new. Shirts are usually between $1-$2 for kids. I have a couple of my favorite clothing stores too but I really like checking her stuff out also. It is cheap and the clothes are in good shape. Kids out grow their clothes quick so there really is no need to spend a lot of money on their clothes, especially if you do not have a lot of money to spend. We got Halloween decorations from her that the kids absolutely love and I am going to see what kind of Christmas decorations she has. Things she has in her store are usually donations to the store so you can find some nice items that you no longer see in the stores. I am also going to go look for some Christmas movies in her store later today. I love her store with some of the knick knacks she has.
