With the ever rising gas prices, food prices and basically hikes in anything on the market, people everywhere are trying to find the best bargain on clothes. Paying full price for an item is a thing of the past. Bargaining and hitting up the thrift stores are a huge trend, now with Vintage style being bigger than ever. How do you find the bargains this day in age? Its quite easy, just takes a little time and effort to keep more money in your wallet.

First off, in department stores full price items usually go on sale within a few weeks. Stores are doing anything and everything to get you, the allmighty customer through their doors. If you see something you like, wait it out. Within a few days or a week or two, it will be on the clearance rack. Watch sale ads as well. Odds are, popular items will be on sale in an ad, since stores are competing price wise. People are not shopping like they used to, and are refusing to pay full price. More and more items are piling up on the clearance rack, making better buys easier to be found.

Another step in finding bargains is simply by asking questions. Ask the store manager or an employee when they recieve new shipments. Odds are, the day they recieve a shipment, there will be new bargains on the clearance rack just waiting for you. Stores need to find room for the new items, so they regularly rotate stock from one rack to another. Also, when they are overstocked, they will have sales. Hit up stores on shipment days or the day after for the best deals to be found.

Stores like Marshall's are on the uprise. These chain stores sell name brand high quality new items, for much less than the department stores. You can find the big store brands for much less than what you will pay at the department store. You can walk out with a whole bag of name brand loot for less than one department store item.

Second hand vintage is also a way to go. Vintage is in style right now and fairly easy to find. Try stores like Goodwill to find any name brand items, and second hand vintage. Odds are, you will find some really nice items for a few dollars. These second hand stores are filled with brand name goodies, you just have to dig for them. You can even find items with the tags still on them!

Cities all over are popping up with stores that buy and sell clothes second hand. Stores like Plato's Closet are great places to find name brand clothes at a reasonable price. Its amazing how far fifty dollars goes in a store like this. Take in some clothes you don't want anymore and trade them in on a new wardrobe. Its fun, and exciting at the same time. These stores also quality check items before the purchase them, inspecting the clothing for holes or wear and tear. Stores like Plato's Closet make it easy to get more bang for your buck.
