Shopping Highlights in Cherry Creek for Britney Spears

Rumor has it that Britney Spears has plunked down a few mill on a posh residence in the Cherry Creek area of Denver, Colorado. An area known for its multimillion dollar condos and townhomes, Cherry Creek is the place to be.

Cherry Creek offers a multitude of close shopping, dining and lifestyle dining experiences that Britney Spears can walk to, if she's not hounded by the paparazzi.

People in Cherry Creek aren't the type to hound celebrities. Indeed, they're quite accustomed to dealing with famous people. If you're looking for people with money, fame or celebrities, Cherry Creek is the place to find them.

There are over 300 stores and restaurants within half a mile of where it's been rumored that Britney Spears will reside. Anything you want can be found in this little piece of shopping heaven.

Paparazzi have loved to get photos of Britney Spears at Starbucks. She'll find two Starbucks within walking distance. Starbucks has been a staple in Cherry Creek North at 2nd and Fillmore and another store at 3rd and Clayton.

Brit - this is important! There's a Starbucks that's open 24 hours a day just a mile south of you at 1233 South Colorado Blvd., next to Barnes & Noble Bookstore.

When Britney Spears wants to be pampered, it's time to go to Ilona's. Brit Brit can join people from across the country who come just to get treatment at Ilona's. Located in the heart of Cherry Creek, Ilona's is at 3201 East 2nd Avenue. Ilona's is another merchant that would probably be happy to provide special accommodations to meet your every need, Britney.

Britney, when you and your guests are hungry, you'll find many of the cities best restaurants right out your back door.

Dine at Elways, owned by former Denver Bronco Quarterback John Elway, and you'll beg for more. A fabulous steakhouse, Elways is one of the top rated restaurants in the city. Elways is just west of the Cherry Creek Mall, south of 1st Avenue.

Since Britney Spears likes to drink, she should visit Hops Restaurant and Microbrewery. Located at 1st and Steele, their food is great -- so is their selection of home brewed beers.

When the mood for Italian food strikes Britney Spears & Co., NoRTH (located at 190 Clayton Lane) can't be beat. Or maybe seafood. Go to Ocean (located at) 2nd and Columbine . Both serve incredible food that she'll love.

Brit Brit will find darling outfits for her boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James, at several high-end baby boutiques. Cute as a Button, located at 2827 E Third Avenue carries darling infant and children's clothes and designer clothes, for kids up to 8 years old. As an independent, locally owned boutique, Cute as a Button would probably be happy to entertain special shopping hours for Brit Brit should the urge hit her.

The specialty store, Janie and Jack, is located in the Cherry Creek mall, just a few blocks from Brit Brits new home. While part of a national chain, Janie and Jack carries upscale clothing specifically geared for special little ones in your life.

Denver's infamous bookstore, The Tattered Cover, once haunted Cherry Creek and has moved just a few miles north should Brit Brit decide to buy the boys some reading material. One of its most famous shoppers was rumored to be Michael Jackson. It's rumored that the TC opened their store in the middle of the night to accommodate him. Somehow I don't get the impression that Brit Brit is an avid reader and probably won't make that kind of request.
