Shopping Malls in Milwaukee County

Crystal Sciarini
Having lived in Milwaukee for twenty eight of my thirty two years I have shopped at every mall in our area dozens of times. Each Milwaukee mall has it's own niche and its own style. So how do you know where to shop when visiting? Read below for a guide to each of the shopping malls in Milwaukee County.

Bayshore Town Center
The newly transformed Bayshore Town Center is a truly unique shopping experience. The new Bayshore Town Center feels like a neighborhood not a mall. There is a wading fountain for the little ones, luxury apartments for the savvy businessperson, and shopping, dining, and movies for the rest of us.

The mall is set up in an unequaled configuration of open air and traditional covered shopping. You can stroll the quaint open air shopping that is reminiscent of days gone by or spend your time leisurely walking within the covered mall.

The anchor stores of Bayshore Town Center are Boston Store, Barnes and Noble, Kohl's, Sears, and Trader Joe's. You can also enjoy Aeroapostle, Discovery Channel Store, Cacique, Chico's, and Adversa.

Mayfair Mall
Mayfair is Milwaukee's singular destination for Build-A-Bear, Cheescake Factory, Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, Macy's, and many others. These exceptional stores is one of the reasons that Mayfair Mall has been Milwaukee's number one shopping destinations for eleven years in a row.

Plan to spend a complete day at Mayfair Mall. There are so many awesome stores that you will want to browse them all. Don't fret there are plenty of great places to grap a quick lunch or dinner, or enjoy a traditional Italian meal at Maggiano's Little Italy.

Need to get off your feet for awhile and take a break from all the wonderful shopping? Stop in to the eighteen screen cinema and enjoy one of the lastest Hollywood flicks.

Southridge Mall
With over one million square feet of shopping space Southridge Mall lays claim to Wisconsin's largest shopping destination. Stores like Old Navy, Christopher and Banks, and New York and Company have called Southridge home for many years. Southridge is the only place you can browse Steve and Barry's, a huge store where nothing is over $12.99.

Relax in the food court and enjoy one of eleven different fast food restaurants. While dining you will enjoy a flood of natural light, the fresh scent of plants, and the soft rhythms of a piano.

Kids need a break for shopping? Let them run and romp in the Kid's Clubhouse or take them for a ride on the train. They will have so much fun they will be begging to come back for more shopping!

Grand Avenue Mall
Downtown Milwaukee has an abundance of history, if you can find parking. At Grand Avenue Mall parking is never an issue since the mall has it's own parking structure. Want a Brew City souvenir? There is only one place in Milwaukee to find Brew City specific mechanidise, Brew City Beer Gear.

After shopping at Lane Bryant, Linen's N Things, and Boston Store you can enjoy lunch or diner at Cajun Grill. Not a fan of Cajun? There are eight other great dining choices, including Applebee's.

Be sure to save your receipts to get reduced parking fees.

Brookfield Square
Brookfield Square is Milwaukee's Trendiest shopping mall with stores like Ann Taylor Loft, PacSun, Limited, and more. Choose from over one hundred different stores including Milwaukee's only CJ Banks. CJ Banks is the premier destination for trendy plus size clothing for women of all ages.

Even men will enjoy shopping at Brookfield Square with destinations like Radio Shack, Gamestop, and Dell Computers.

The people who work at the train at southridge are a nightmare! We were treated so badly! The guy running the train was so mean to my daughter that she cried and cried. When I spoke to his manager the guy told me that he had already discussed the incident with "Paul" (the employee) and that he had indicated that he was very polite and that it was my child's fault that things happened the way they did. The manager told me I was a liar and that it was "impossible" for Paul to have acted rude. He offered no apology for the situation at all. It was the poorest customer service I have ever received. The saddest part is that my innocent daughter had to suffer because of their nasty behavior. The play area at southride is great, but I would recommend avoiding the train at all cost. I am a very honest person and I post this in hopes that no other little children will have to cry their eyes out because some old man was having a bad day.

I used to live and work near Mayfair...spent nearly every lunch hour there. It was sweet.
