Shopping at the Tanger Outlet Mall in Wisconsin Dells

When telling people that we were soon visiting Wisconsin Dells, one common remark was that we needed to be sure to stop at the Tanger Outlet Mall. So, being women, we of course slid a shopping trip into our schedule! As a reputable outlet mall dealer, we were sure we'd find some deals and not regret visiting the Tanger Outlet Mall in Wisconsin Dells, WI. While this was partially true, there was some slight disappointment as the same time.

First of all, finding the mall was a cinch! You couldn't miss it if you tried! This of course is very important, no one enjoys getting lost on their way to a vacation, especially when the clock is ticking and time is passing quickly to begin with!

Upon arriving at the Tanger Outlet Mall, we immediately noticed how wonderful it looks! The structure was so nice because there was a covering over the mall walkways. Many outlet malls are strip mall style so you have to walk in the rain, sun, cold, or whatever the weather beholds for the day as you pass through the stores. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a covering from the sun so that we could enjoy the shopping more. It was a hot sunny day, so the shade the canopy providing made the entire shopping trip more pleasurable.

We had two small children with us, and generally speaking, shopping at any mall with young children can be disastrous. Fortunately there were many young children screaming, so when ours joined in, they could barely be heard. Unfortunately, for those without children, the sounds of screaming, whining and unhappy children were ringing through the hallways!

The Tanger Outlet Mall definitely planned for children when constructing and laying out this mall. There were booths with children's activity rides placed spontaneously throughout the mall. Even if you had no quarters there was a chance machine, and also the rides are fun even when they are not running! My kids had a blast climbing into and out of the ice cream truck, castle, fire engine, and carousal. We didn't have to spend a dime on any of these amusements to entertain the kids!

The stores seemed to be arranged with the shoppers' considerations. The children's apparel and fun stores were placed together, the junior style stores were next to each other and the women's clothing stores were all in a row. This made shopping extremely convenient and the stores were all easy to find.

We were a little disappointed with the prices inside each individual store. When visiting an outlet mall, one tends to assume the prices will be less than at the standard stores. Well, this definitely was not the case here. While the selection of stores is fabulous, the prices inside the individual stores were not the best. There were some great sales, which was the only bonus to shopping inside some stores.

I would definitely visit this mall again, and am already considering a return visit! The size of the stores was great, the selection of stores was unbeatable, and the location is great! If you live in Wisconsin, the Tanger Outlet Mall in Wisconsin Dells needs to be on your vacation list!
