Shopping for Wedding Dresses in the Detroit Metro Area

Finding the Perfect Dress Made Easy

Liz Copeland
Shopping for the perfect wedding dress can be a daunting task, but it's a task made simple if you're in the Detroit metro area. From national chains specializing in formal wear to local boutiques, finding the perfect gown for your perfect day has never been easier. Many stores locally also have websites so you can browse before they open to get a sense of their selection and style. Many of the stores I've worked with also have great customer service and understand the importance of your special day. They are more than willing to help you have the wedding of your dreams, dress and all.

National chains have both their pros and cons when you're looking for the perfect wedding dress. Because they're a large chain, it can be easier to get the wedding dress you love even if one store doesn't have it available in your size. Of course, on the flip-side, local boutiques may offer more of a personal touch, in both service and selection. Either way, you can't really go wrong. Every store I'm going to list understands the importance of having the perfect wedding dress, and all of them have at least one store in the Detroit metro area.

If you're looking for wedding dresses, I'm sure you don't need me to tell you why you're doing it and what you're looking for in particular. Here are some stores in the Detroit metro area that will help you find the wedding dress of your dreams.

  • National shops have larger seletion, but less personalization.
  • Local shops can have a smaller selection or longer wait times for out-of-stock items.
  • There is a gown for every taste.
Looking for a cake topper? The selection is getting more varied as weddings become less traditional. It's easier than ever to find something uniquely 'you'.
