Breast Cancer Awareness Month is October, and it is a very important time for both raising awareness and raising resources. Approximately 40,000 women die of breast cancer each year. Here are some online shops that do both by selling Breast Cancer Awareness Merchandise.

The Pink Ribbon Shop was started by a breast cancer survivor. She tells her story and the story of the Pink Ribbon Shop all in the same breath, as they are one and the same. I was really impressed with the variety of merchandise here. The Pink Ribbon Shop has more than fifty categories of merchandise. They are arranged in alphabetical order on the left navigation bar. Some of the categories are angels, anklets, party supplies, children's items, cell phone accessories, earrings, hats, home and garden, jackets, golf, pets, religious, and much much more. They even have stationary and scrapbooking supplies for crafty people. It also includes books and journals as people suffering from breast cancer look for information and a way to tell their own stories.

The BC Mall was also started by a breast cancer survivor. Over 1300 products can be found here. Adorable little Teddy Bears, pink ribbon pins, tote bags, stationary, puppy dogs, even a pink household toolbox. Cool, huh? This shop offers gift certificates, and it has all kinds of breast cancer awareness information. It has information on complementary treatments, breast cancer advocacy, dealing with grief and loss, interpreting tests, male breast cancer, symptoms of breast cancer, peer support, and much more. This shop is a phenomenal resource.

Pink Ribbon Jewelry and Gifts - Breast Cancer Merchandise is another great resource for both breast cancer awareness and helping to fund the fight against breast cancer. On the right hand side are the different categories of products that they sell. There are about 20 different categories of merchandise. These include t-shirts, sweatshirts, sleepwear, tableware, key chains, id holders, magnets, decals, watches, and much more. Ont the left hand navigation bar there are buttons for information and awareness on breast cancer. These include symptoms, updates, links, Locks of Love, and more.

Breastcancer.org discusses symptoms and diagnosis, treatment and side effects, day-to-day matters, lowering your risk, and community knowledge. Their gift shop contains logo merchandise, event supplies, bowling merchandise, skin care products, jewelry, gifts, clothing and accessories, home decor, books, and more shopping. I looked through some of their stuff, and I really liked their clothes. They had a really nice variety of colors and styles. I also liked their notebooks and journals. The event supplies included umbrellas, tribute cards, key chains, a stress ball, and more.

Zazzle had some really great t-shirts for breast cancer awareness. Some of the writing said "Real Men Wear Pink", "Awareness Matters", "Chick for a Cure", "I Run for Breast Cancer Awareness", and more. A wide variety of t-shirts here.
