Short Film Contest to Be Juried by Peter Bratt

WritersCorps announces their first-ever film event: the Poetry Projection Project. This contest calls on filmmakers of all ages to create short films based on poems by the kids at WritersCorps. In keeping with WritersCorps' mission of helping youth through creative expression, the Poetry Projection Project encourages filmmakers to explore the power of young people's words and voices.

Entries will be juried by filmmaker Peter Bratt, and will compete for two $150 cash prizes and the opportunity to screen at two venues in San Francisco, CA April 16 and 19th, 2011.Entry deadline is March 27. Completed entries should be five minutes long or under. Enter here.
