Short Lived Loves

Verna Hendrickson
Short lived loves
are temptations that
make the eyes
stray.

The undecided minds
switch to another day.

Sounds of sweetness can
become bitter like some
chocolates once given
out.

Touches can become
threatening and for
some there is time to
pout.

Be careful not to jump
into a relationship so
quick.

Just because your heart
skipped one tick.

Good poem. InFATuation can be a weighty issue.
