Remember this summer
The sweltering heat
Spending days in the pool
Enjoying hot dogs and burgers to eat!
The sweltering heat
Spending days in the pool
Enjoying hot dogs and burgers to eat!
But how we complained
That it was so darn hot
Now that icy weather is here
It's like the Land that Time Forgot!
So now the tables are turned
Hot weather is a thing of the past
So grab your North Face and Uggs
Cause it looks like we're in for a frigid blast!

Post a CommentHere in TX we have the best (or worst) of both worlds - blazing hot during the day and freezing cold at night!
That's cold:)
Let it be so. Colds winters make for perfect springs.
Today was relatively mild temperature-wise, but it was pouring rain. Tomorrow it is supposed to get much colder again. Well, it is December in New York City!
We spent most of last week with temps in the teens. Where, oh where did summer go?
yep I remember the sweltering heat and now I am in the midst of the cold and snow storms
Yes Jersey, all too soon we forget.

Your poem brings it all back so well and so true :)
