Short Mother's Day Poem: Who Takes After Who?

Lori Lane
You may ask yourself if you take after your mother.
What makes you think she doesn't take after you?
Remembering how you were compared to how she is -
sometimes she simply takes after her kids.

As you're running after guys that look like Pitt
she's measuring up the dates and what you did.
But the funniest of all is when she stumbles and she falls
while chasing Julio Iglesias off the grid.
