As the world of self-publishing grows, thanks to Kindles, Nooks, and other e-readers, I realized a trend and I became only one person who has decided to expand the term "ebook" to mean more than a certain word count. Now, some of my short stories are available for download on the Amazon website or at Smashwords.com. The stories are "Hard Creek Bridge" and a small collection of two stories called "Wouldn't Last Forever," which contains the stories "A Prayer, An Answer" and "Twelve Years From Then."
I'm a nationally published writer with essays in The Chronicle of Higher Education, Academe, and InsideHigherEd.com. I have also published fiction, poetry, and other web content. I live in Virginia, where I also work as a freelance editor and an instructor at various colleges.
