Should Britney Spears Choose Nicki Minaj, Usher or Joe Jonas for Opening Act? How About Christina Aguilera?

Enrique Iglesias could not handle being an opening act for Britney Spears. So he bailed. That leaves the opening act up for grabs for Britney Spears' upcoming tour to support her new album, "Femme Fatale."

AceShowbiz.com reports that the two in consideration for the job are Usher and Joe Jonas. The Usher reports came from Spears herself, who told MTV, "Oh, I'm so excited. I'm really excited about going on tour, very...I think Usher's really great right now. I think he's really hot right now. That would be cool [to tour with him]."

As for Joe Jonas, if he were to be picked, solo material outside the Jonas Brothers' catalog would be focused on tour.

However, TMZ stated that lawyers are in talks right now regarding Nicki Minaj as the opener for Spears' tour, which begins this June.

This begs the question. Which superstar should open for Britney Spears? I'm reporting right this second that Christina Aguilera should open for Spears. Her career could use a boost after the divorce, public intox arrest and semi-nude photos incidents.

Aguilera's behavior is similar to Spears' a few years back. With Aguilera opening for Spears, the tour could be called the "Past, Present and Future Tour."

One thing's for sure, Christina Aguilera, Usher, Joe Jonas and Nicki Minaj are all more popular than Iglesias. Iglesias could use a "hero" right now, because he's definitely not anybody's at this moment.
