The Spinbrush Pro requires two double A batteries to run on, and these batteries add extra weight to the toothbrush.

The batteries will usually last about a month before you need to replace them. Also, you may want to invest in rechargeable batteries because they may save you money in the long run. As for the brush itself, it will need replacing every three to six months. You should also replace the brush head if the bristles look worn out or damaged even if it hasn't been three to six months yet.

The brush head consists of two moving parts. The first part of the brush head moves in an up and down motion, while the other part of the brush head spins. The spinning head is why the toothbrush is called the Spinbrush Pro. What if you want to replace the brush head? It's simple. To remove the brush head you simply twist it, and pull it off. Then replace it by pushing the new brush head on, and twisting it in the opposite direction.

The cost of this toothbrush is about seven or so dollars, depending on where you purchase it from. But don't forget, you'll still need to buy extra batteries and brush heads. These brush heads will cost about six or seven dollars for two of them, so it can become albeit expensive. As for where you can purchase the Spinbrush Pro, you can find it at many different locations. Walmart, Target, Kmart, local grocers, and many other places will carry this electric toothbrush.

Does the Crest Spinbrush Pro do a better job of cleaning your teeth than an ordinary toothbrush? Well, I think it does. After I finish using it my teeth always feel cleaner, and they look good too. And as far as I know, I don't have any cavities. I should mention that I've been using this electric toothbrush for about a year without any major problems.

However, be careful when you use this electric toothbrush because sometimes it can cut your gums. This doesn't happen very often, but it can occur. Especially if you have swollen gums or something to that effect. So don't brush too hard. It's also harder to reach certain areas of your teeth with this electric toothbrush, but you become better acclimated to it after you've used it for a while.

So if you want to try out a new method for cleaning your teeth, try using the Crest Spinbrush Pro. Check with your dentist if you have any major concerns about using this toothbrush, but I'm sure your dentist will tell you that it's okay to use.
