Registry Mechanic 7.0 by PC Tools is the version detailed in this registry cleaner review. Registry error problems are characterized by slow computer problems, the need to stop computer crashes, or having computer freezes, A Registry Mechanic download is one of the best registry fix options to resolve these types of issues.

Registry Mechanic one of the most sensitive companies to meeting my needs from the first time test E-Mail that I sent. This is a good sign because it shows that they are likely to treat their customers better than many of the other registry clean up manufacturers.

Ease of Use/Download:

Registry Mechanic was an incredibly easy download and the software was straight forward and simple to understand. The process to scanning only took less than one minute. The software explained each feature and I could easily see this as a useful product for both novices and techies alike due to the customizable features.

Unique Features:

A unique feature of Registry Mechanic is the Registry Compacting feature in the registry optimize options in the user interface. This feature allows you to remove gaps in your registry and speed up PC performance after a quick computer restart.

This software has more features for your money than most of the registry repair utility programs on the market. Between the monitoring characteristics (watching for registry changes) and the optimization tools, Registry Mechanic is a good choice for those wanting a large amount of tools for a mid level price tag.
Another unique feature of Registry Mechanic is having all the support tools right from a pull-down menu on the software interface. It gives the option of accessing a quick start guide (A-Z walk through), a support form (email), and the PC Tools website which has more resources.

Scanning/Repair Options:

Registry Mechanic exceeded all expectations of scanning categories including Software Locations, Registry Integrity, Windows Fonts, Help and Resources, Shared DLLs, Start Up Programs, Add/Remove Programs, Virtual Devices, File Extensions, Temp Files/Shortcuts, Custom Controls, and Deep Scan. Registry Mechanic surprised me with the number of features present.

Weakness:

After a detailed Registry Mechanic review, I could not find any major flaws. I am bothered by the lack of live help from many of the products but after experiencing the quick and professional responses by Registry Mechanic, coupled with the online and document-based support, my mind was put at ease.

Problems Fixed/Recommendation:

Registry Mechanic is one of my top three best registry fix solutions. Though Registry Mechanic found only 988 errors when competing products had found 1,000-2,500, the Windows registry errors that were vital were repaired. Registry Mechanic even fixed a DLL error that I have had on this particular PC for the past seven months upon system start up. This program is the only one I have run over time that fixed this error.

After repairing the 988 errors detected, I ran two other PC registry fix programs and none of the previous errors were detected, which in my book is a great sign for Registry Mechanic 7.0 for the competitive price of $29.95 full version. Before obtaining the full version, use their free download to ensure actual registry errors exist.
