Should Lindsay Lohan Marry Charlie Sheen?

Can a 'Winning' Warlock' Wed a 'Lilo' Lindsay Lohan?

"Misery loves company. There's no such thing as bad publicity." If these time tested, but somewhat cliched aphorisms are indeed true, perhaps that troll slaying, winning Warlock himself Charlie Sheen needs to marry fellow mega publicity magnet Lindsay Lohan. We can only imagine the huge torrent of publicity generated by these two trouble making titans. 'Shohan'? 'Loheen'?

Before you laugh, and dismiss my little strange sounding scheme as just that - a scheme - look at how Hollywood history has treated such memorable power couples of publicity. Currently, the reigning Hollywood King and Queen of mega publicity is Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. While it's true these two are not dazzling baddies like Sheen or Lohan, you could argue Pitt leaving Jennifer Anniston for his current squeeze doesn't make 'Brangelina' as cuddly as a lot of couples. Still, Angelina and Brad usually make more covers of the tabloids than mostly any other Hollywood duo.

Flip back the glorified pages of Hollywood's flashy history book and you'll find another power couple who courted publicity like it was going out of style. Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor wowed audiences on and off the screen with their love affair and marriages. They were married twice, yet the two are constantly intertwined in an almost mythic way.

Many Hollywood power couples delight in their ability to incite media magic, but they're usually pretty low key, and for the most part behave - least publicly. Jennifer Lopez and hubby Marc Anthony are the definition of a power couple, yet publicity generated by their behavior doesn't keep tabloids flying off supermarket shelves. Indeed, JLO's new gig on American Idol has provided new insight into her as a person, considering how much emotion she displays for the often brutal voting off of the young singers in the competition.

You can also argue people with substance abuse problems know all too well just how hard it is to overcome such personal hurdles. Marriages based around such struggle can be the foundation of a much more real relationship, than one of mere physical attraction.

I don't expect winning Warlock Sheen or Lilo Lohan to tie the knot anytime soon, but if two stars of such pulse pounding publicity could find their way to the altar, the entertainment news shows and tabloids would surely pay for the wedding. As Charlie Sheen is finding on his fortunes by using Twitter as a marketing tool, publicity isn't anything bad, good nor great - it just is what it is. It can be wielded in many ways, and by uniting in force, they'd be powerful.

I love that proposal. They do seem made for each other in one way. However, I don't think Lindsay would put up with the godesses.
