The Octomom can avoid foreclosure on her home if she agrees to star in a porn film, as reported at TMZ. Steven Hirsch, the founder and president of Vivid Entertainment, a porn company founded in 1984, has agreed to pay off the debt, totaling more than $400,000, if Octomom does a film.

Would Octomom avoiding foreclosure by doing porn be a good thing for Vivid Entertainment?

Although porn sales are down in some areas, such as print magazine, it continues to blaze ahead in other areas, such as the Internet. Porn may not be respected in the United States, but it has an audience, lots of them, and Vivid Entertainment is benefiting from that audience.

The Octomom is like a caricature, easily identified by the plastic surgery and the many kids in tow. If Nadya Suleman, mother of 14 kids, who is also known as the Octomom, were to star in a porn movie, chances are it would be a success for Vivid. She is a fascination to some men and could draw in the numbers. Vivid is an adult company that isn't worried about what the neighbors have to say. It is unabashedly porn and proud of it.

Few if any people have written anything positive about Nadya Suleman. She was first criticized after having six children, struggling to take care of them and depending on government support, but going through with in vitro fertilization to conceive more. Since then, Octomom has appeared on TV and in magazines, sporting a porn star like face and body.

Those who advocate adult entertainment would likely encourage Octomom to star in a Vivid porn film, if she weren't opposed to it. Her reputation is likely not to improve whether she does the porn movie or not and her mortgage would get paid off. If she were to become a porn star, however, she would eventually have to explain it to her 14 children. In a country that does not consider porn a good thing, that could be hard to do.
