Should Oksana Grigorieva Woman Up?
Behind Enemy Lines of Mixed Messages
But TMZ's latest on Grigorieva news proves that when Oksana plays her cards right she can pretty much get what most people can't. Like a gift basket from the Los Angeles Lakers. But it wasn't for her - it was for her soon-to-be thirteen year old son, Alexander. Nice, right? That is if one can overlook the charitable kind gesture.
Oh no she didn't! She did.
Grigorieva complained about not having a "nice" gift for her son's birthday to her posse. Grigorieva's friends contacted the executives and in return a fully loaded Lakers gift basket showed up. It would appear that the Los Angeles Lakers are kind for the generous act. Or that the Lakers support Oksana and like the Russian singer. The other mixed message includes suggestion that Oksana can't think for herself when it comes to gift giving. Then again, others may think the semi-obvious.
Step-ex-boyfriend not coming through? Meanwhile, where's daddy? SOL, sweet old London. Travel pending.
No McDonalds in that swanky neighborhood? There comes a time in life when a woman has to do what a woman has to do. No, not eat Big Macs all day. But to work for a living, at any cost. Especially when a child's birthday is involved. Woman up!
All in all, it's for her kid, from mommy - or the Lakers.
People felt sorry for Oksana after her story was released through media outlets, oh, but not by her hands or mouth. Or so she claims in most cases. As time passes, and job opportunities, Oksana Grigorieva still remains big dog on Radar Online, little pup on TMZ. One can only wonder how she cannot be cashing in on some of the media attention.
Whether she cannot afford a "nice" gift or failed to visit Associated Content's excellent listing of great gift ideas, one thing is for sure. Alexander is going to love it!
And thanks to the TMZ update I have contacted all of my friends to tell them my birthday is coming up (next year) and I really could use a "nice" gift. Did you get that Brad Pitt's agent?

Hey Lori - nice new pic! I'm not feeling the love for ole Oksana - I figure that any "battered" woman who reaches for a tape recorder before she phones the authorities needs more than my support. What a wacko. cheers :)
