Should You Quit Your Day Job to Blog?

Lena Phoenix
Quitting one's day job to blog can be a difficult thing if you are not already making some substantially attractive financial figures. I mean if you are noticing that it is something that really works for you and that is bringing home the bacon, go for it. However, I would not advise it if you are sitting at home and just fooling around and still do not know the ropes of the game. In that situation you may need more time to become a more worthy candidate for lucrative blogging.

Hence I would at least put it off and just treat it like I am in training and when I qualify for the position or am making it work to my advantage in terms of bringing in more than I already make at my current job, then I could say yes to the idea of quitting my day job. Until then something has to be done outside of this venture to pay for the bills and the things I need.

Even though it really can be an appealing thing to get into, I would need to know how I can fully utilize it because as of yet I am still new to the blogging concept and would not have a clue how people make a huge income from what seems to be like writing in an on-line journal. Perhaps for the professional bloggers that is something that they fully understand and entered into with open eyes.

At the end of the day I think what ever you decide you really should keep your eyes and mind open and weigh things out realistically so that you don't put yourself in a worse situation which you will later regret. I would love to earn more but until then I guess this little puppy will have to stick to her day job.
