However, I am in favor of a woman's right to choose. I am against abortion but I do not feel that I have the right to choose whether or not a woman does or does not have the procedure or anybody else. I strongly believe that it is and should be a womans right. I feel that government has no say when it comes to this difficult choice. Situations are different for ever woman that considers abortion an option. She could be very young and alone and truly believes there is no other option. What if she was raped and got pregnant by the offender? Nobody reacts to the same situation the same. I for one am not going to tell a woman what is right or wrong with her decision. Ultimately, only she truly knows what the best course of action is.
If we allow government to regulate a woman's right to choose does it stop there? We need to preserve this right for every woman out there that so she can be the one to make the decision if she ever has to, not somebody else who doesn't even know her!
