"If we took away women's right to vote, we'd never have to worry about another Democrat president. It's kind of a pipe dream, it's a personal fantasy of mine, but I don't think it's going to happen. And it is a good way of making the point that women are voting so stupidly, at least single women..."
I respectfully agree and I can't help but wonder what result the women's right to vote will bring about. Many women tend to look for liberals who will support their special interests, like children who favor guardians who spoil them by giving them what they demand.
Women often place their own concerns and feminist ideals above the well-being of their country. Quite often, they tend to ask what their country can do for them.
There are a lot of women who don't have any tolerance for sound laws or decent candidates. Many, for example, are against the right of a developing infant to be secure in his or her mother's womb. They regard this and similar issues as women's rights, and they often place these types of concerns above all else. Most men are more focused on matters of importance, rather than those pertaining to intrigue, selfishness or men's rights.
Many feminists seem to have an "axe to grind," and women oriented subjects preoccupy their spheres of thought. This tends to overshadow concerns such as the national defense and other topics of real merit. Many women will only vote for those aligned with their causes and they'll make this a prerequisite for supporting a candidate. This, of course, means championing Democrats who are wrong-minded, unprincipled and dangerous.
What does all of this mean? Quite simply, some women have not used their relatively new right to vote unselfishly, it appears. Surely, this must lead us to question why the women's right to vote did not previously exist and whether or not it should presently exist.
In my opinion, the founders understood the nature of women, and they must have perceived that politics should mainly be men's responsibility. Personally, I believe women should have the right to vote and I hope they'll be responsible and don't require candidates to support wrong agendas.
I do see that many women are actually more sensible and trustworthy than men, but wrong women can ruin it for everyone. They can actually cause great harm and endanger our country tremendously. Some may find it surprising that many women agree with me, but they are regarded as traitors to the core by most feminists. Those are the ladies, however, who are very qualified to vote.

Post a CommentThe only thing I'm reading in these articles are massive generalisations about certain groups of people that also happen to be lacking citations. Also note how often you use the word "liberal".
just the fact that you could say something like that. For you to always be mentioning your right your freedom of speech and then say that nearly 50percent of the population shouldn't be able to vote. wow you dont see the stupid. Whats next
" Why America should be all white"
Let me guess, Ms. Anthony, you were born around 1990 and even though you may disagree with what I say, you will defend with honor my right to say it, correct? I have just reread my own article after a while, and despite what you and other feminists blabber about, my article is respectful, I have exercised my freedom of speech and have presented many sound and truthful points.

You and Marty are cut from the same fabric which is painted with male ego tripping, male chauvanisim.
It's tiem to wake up and rid yourselves of such futile fantacy. women's right is here to stay.
Let me guess Marty,
you were born in 1700-1800?
You're a Chauvinist and full of ego.
you're a sad sorry man who has issues with women?
wake up Marty.
women will have the right to vote, the right to terminate pregnancies, the right to divorce, the right not to marry or to marry, the right to work outside the home, fight in combat, be presidents, governors, senators, doctors, etc
it's 2009 for God's sake not 1709?
Proud traitor here. I have always maintained that the right to vote should be tested by a basic ability to understand how our choices of politicians affect us as a nation. It is not about "me", it's about US. U.S. Far too much selfishness, emotion, and egotism goes into individuals' choices of candidates.
Marty,
I'm hoping that you wrote this absurdity in hopes of making a point about people who vote based on personalities and single issues rather than substance. I'm not sure if you've checked lately but a great number of the troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan are women. While there may still be some ancient regulations regarding their service in combat positions, it is obvious to anyone who looks that the rule has been circumvented. My friend Rebekkah serving in Baghdad would be my first winess to that fact.
I have on the other hand often promoted the idea that stupid people shouldn't be allowed to vote. One shouldn't vote for McCain based on his war record or Obama based on his ability to speak well. Neither of these will make him a good president. People are concerned about issues, whether the issue is financial independence for our country, national security or the right to determine for yourself what happens to your body.
Again, I will choose to believe your all for an end
I think its slightly extreme to say all women shouldnt vote, yes you are entitled to your oppinion. My oppinion is that if you arent aware of the specifics of the candidate then don't vote for any candidate. Making an informed choice is always best but alot of times i feel its almost too much work to make an informed choice, because can we really trust what the media tells us? I am a woman and I chose not to vote, I don't feel it makes any difference. It drives me crazy that some people want to say "but each vote counts" well, no it doesnt....if that were the case George Bush (Jr) wouldn't have won the election in 2000 he didnt win the popular vote. So in my oppinion everyone that "got out and voted" that day, wasted their time. I realize a president is not chosen by popular vote its by electorial vote, and the electorial vote was designed to properly represent the popular vote, but as you can see it clearly didnt.
Abby, reread my last paragraph - I alluded to what you're saying. Indeed, there are stupid men and responsible women, but the irresponsible women can overwhelm our nation, and I respectfully maintain it is primarily men's duty to vote. The decent men have a hard enough time dealing with corrupt men, without feminists chiming in and wreaking their havoc. I'm completely aware feminists won't like this, but I am presenting my views under freedom of speech, and the freedom of the press that AC has always observed.
there are stupid men out there too who have no right to vote. But you dont see women questioning mens right to vote.
